Clouts, what happened to all of your crazy "Hemsky for top-10 NHL player to help the other team out" ideas? Are they no longer willing to help out Nashville by giving them Hemsky, a prospect, and a 1st for Shea Weber?

You don't spend much of the year out of the playoffs and not need upgrades. A lot of players can be upgraded on.

I'd be targeting a replacement for the 4th line center position. An upgrade on Potter. A potential upgrade on Jones that would push him to the 4th line and Petrell to the PB.

I'd also be looking at potential upgrades for next year. Is there a way to move N.Schultz for a better fit? Is there a #5 physical d-man that could be brought in to potentially replace or push Fistric into a more permanent PB role? Is there someone available to be next year's backup?

First of all outcomes of games are meaningless when applied to Horcoff and Belanger.I would say stay the course as playing very well right now.And in the end I don't think Stevo has the stones to pull off a trade that could maybe see a couple of playoff rounds.

I can say he is everyones fav player in buffalo this season... he can be had but the price will be very high.... whats it worth to you all? I actually think Buffalo wants to dump his salary. If you're the Oilers, maybe you can get him for a couple picks, or a quality prospect + a 2nd round pick.

Not much. He's one of the most overrated players available right now. Guy is a 20-20 non-physical big guy that isn't all that much better then Ryan Jones in the big picture.

Seeing Hall in a Flames jersey last night was pretty funny...it was also nice of him (since he is such a big fan) to have a good game and assist the Flames in their rebui.....I mean....."transition"

't. As long as the team stays healthy down the stretch, they will make the playoffs. They need to put in 8-5 or 7-4-2 over the last 13, and they way they're playing...no problem.

Big problem, of course. We could do well down the stretch and still not make it obviously, but we've won four straight and have points in 8 of our last 10 (6-2-2) so if we stay hot and they keep limping we could very well squeak in there at the death.

B)Why would EDM want Kipper or Lu? Kipper's washed up and terrible (see: last night's game, and his stats). Luongo's not great anymore(see: stats behind a D core much better than EDM's) and he's got a brutal contract.

Dubey's got a .922SV% and Khabi's got a .930. How is goaltending an issue at all? No complaints about goaltending here. EDM needs a top 4 D man, and a big top 9 winger(or just bring up Teemu).
